add to favorites and add/block friends…what's their use in responsive directory

Well here are two questions:
1.) If a user adds someone to their favorites, where does it show? I do not see anything that would display this in members area

2.) What is the use of add/block friends in responsive directory theme?

Is there a tutorial explaining their function because as of now, it looks misleading to futures and i would at least like to know what to tell them when they ask about it.

Any feedback would be great.
