Can DirectoryPress support 1,000,000 listings and 30M fields?

I have a file with 1M listings ready for my non-responsive DirectoryPress them, and each listing has about 30 fields (incl custom fields).

Considering the design of postmeta, it seems very inefficient to run a larger site like this because of the enormous amount of database queries/lookups that would need to take place to generate a single page.

Anyone have real world experience?
