Mark, I tested with a new install V5.4, set listing expire to pending under package setting. But listing will not expire even though the listing had been actually expired and nothing happen. But if I click to view the listing on the user frontend, it triggers the listing to expire and send email to the listing owner right away.

The expiry date should automatically trigger the listing to be in pending status if the package was set to pending when listing expires. It seems like a bug?
