    I reviewed the posts for “Oops! You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” and didn’t see a solution.

    My scenario:
    Brand new WP install and Director theme, basic system, no extra plugins.

    I was merrily setting up the theme, switching back and forth between View Site and admin then all of a sudden “Oops! You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    The site is accessible, but wp-admin causes “Oops! You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    After an hour or 2 searching WP website and PremiumPress, nothing I tried works.
