Where to place code for slider

Hi all

I’ve created a slider for my site shoppingdeals4u.com using the Metaslider Lite plugin. I want this slider to replace the carousel that’s currently on the homepage.

The thing is, I don’t have a clue where I should place the code for this slider to display in that location? Disabling the carousel is easy enough.

This is the code I need to insert for the slider <?php echo do_shortcode(“[metaslider id=878]”); ?>

Question is in which file and where so that it shows where I want it to show; under the search bar in place of the carousel. The images are already sized so they are the same length as the carousel.
