I am currently using 8.9.7 version for the shop theme. However, I needed to know if
I should upgrade it the latest version, and if so where are the files that have been changed, please?
I also need some help on if I upgrade to this new version, will all my current modifications to the
menus, categories, etc be altered out, and thus need to be put back into place with the upgrade?
Also, do I need to change out my PHP on my hosting to use the latest version, and the child themes too, please?
Sorry for so many questions, but I always seem to break my version when upgrading and took me ages to get it back to functioning order again, so wanted to ask upfront this time around.

are you referring to V9? version 9 is not n upgrade for V8.9.7 yet, its clean install version
When will there be a update for the theme? Half of my site has quit working and the only thing I got when I submitted a ticket was try to roll back your site, Its to late for that. I’m hoping a update might fix the problem.
Mark might release the upgrade tool once ALL themes are converted to V9
This is an old message, but still in need of doing an upgrade to get to the V9. Can you kindly tell me if there is a tool or plugin that we can use to transfer our V8.9.7 versions data etc
over to the latest version V9??
Hi Libby, as far as I know there is no tool for the upgrade yet. We are still waiting for this.

If so would you mind sharing your steps here, as I would like to move my data over to the V9, but tried with the CSV file approach and that did not work, still testing out other ways that I could get the data over to the V9 set up.
I did not update manually due to the fact that this will cause me a long downtime. There are a lot of changes, differences, new features etc.. which needs in depth planning, testing and time. My setup is customized which makes things more difficult. Therefore, I decided to wait until there is a tool available from the developer. Unfortunately, there is no ETA for this. I hope that he will work on this after all themes have v9 versions available.
Thank you once again for the reply back, much appreciate it!! I agree on the new changes etc, with the V9 version. I too am worried on doing the change over manually at this time as well. That said, I so hope that Mark will provide us with a safe tool in order to transfer our data over to the V9.
I installed the new version on a sub-domain name and am currently trying to learn all the new features, before upgrading over on my main store website.
In addition, I noticed you said your setup is customized, did you do this all yourself, or did you have the team help you? I am looking for ways to get my store to look unique, and not like a template, but it is a work in progress
