What files can go in a child theme?

Ok, that’s fine, but I need at least the _language.php file to be prioritized in my child theme, and that’s inside the framework folder/directory. Can you help me get the site to look for my custom file instead of for the parent theme equivalent? As I said, my child theme is activated and working except for that.
