Just updated to:

V 8.1 Issue – Hard Links Keep Redirecting Back To Home Page

I now find that any link when clicked revert back to our home page.

Please advise on what part of the update may have caused this – so I can fix this?

I have a feeling that it has something to do with the way the geolocation is set up. If the pop up gets blocked perhaps?
