Other than uploading a CV when applying for a specific jobs – is there a way of uploading a CV so it is permanently available on an applicants account or will I have to customise this into the theme?
You could bridge the theme to a forum clients profile and have it there. You would need custom work for that though and a non WP forum.
Depends how serious you are about your site.
Ask Mark, maybe it’s an easy fix. I would have thought that would basic for a users account?
Good call David
always something to add on.
That I would like to see also
the CV attached to a users account is the one they upload under their my account page.
not sure why there would be a need for 2 CV’s here?
Mark, actually I would like users to be able to fill in a kind of CV form also beside uploading their CV, so recruiters can search jobseekers on different criterias.
Beside this, can recruiters subscribe to get a list of new jobseekers matching what they looking for?
Same, can jobseekers subscribe to get a list of new jobs matching what they looking for?
If not, then this might be a good thing to add?
Sorry if this already exists, I’m new to this, just setting up my first Job Board
Hi guys – thanx for a great job theme! Loving it!
Would also love to see what Stefan is asking about 😀
Is it possible to remove the Upload CV from my accounts. I’m using my job board theme as a bidding site and I don’t have any use for it there.
sure but you’ll need to edit the file;
Oh wow…..I don’t even want to touch that. Sounds complicated
@Rosario, not too difficult. Simply remove lines 177-179 in framework/class/defaults_jobs.php. This will in effect ‘hide’ the attach file option. You could go through and remove all the code related to this but it makes more sense to hide what you don’t want as you never know if you will want it back in the future
Thanks John I’ll try it. I’m running JB Version 6.6.3. Do I remove the same lines 177-179?
Better save a copy of the file before removing it.
