Updating to version 6.5

I have 3 responsive shopper theme websites and I would like to update to 6.5. Currently I have versions 6.3 and 6.3.1 with the blue and red shopper child themes installed.

How to I do this update? Install 6.5 and then activate it and then reactivate the child themes?

These are just amazon sites, I don’t sell my own products so I don’t use a lot the theme’s functions. I hope this process doesn’t result in a shipwreck!
