Updating Responsive Theme to Newest Version

    I am sorry I have tried digging around the videos and forum and can’t find the details of updated the responsive theme to the newest version. I just keep on finding documentation on upgrading non responsive to responsive

    Is it like most other WP sites when updating them via FTP – you just drag and drop the DT file to the themes folder in WP

    Or if I do that will I loose my child themes and any changes I made in child themes?

    By the way I am updating from responsive 6.5.7
