Theme Version 6.5.2 – Two Issues

After posting earlier today about some issues with Google Map not displaying properly in new listings with the latest version of WordPress, I decided to manually update the theme (since no automatic update was available). I managed to get everything almost straightened out, but noticed two bugs that I wish to try to correct ASAP.

1. Slider – When in Theme Options->Page Setup->Home Page I try to edit the Full Image Slider. I only have 1 slide, so I keep trying to delete the other two slides. However you have to do this in a VERY particular way or it will always reset. If you make any other changes where you have to click ‘Save Changes” on the main screen, it will reset any blank lines you saved to the default placeholder images. Saving Changes overwrites any changes you make to the Full Image Slider, so it is imperative that you go back to the Full Image Slider and ave the changes there EVERY time you make a change anywhere else in your page settings. otherwise you will have the default slides popping back up.
2. Package Display Plugin (Version 1.3) – Updated March 3, 2014 does not seem to work properly with this version of WordPress (WordPress version 3.9). Instead of the packages being in 4 neat columns and the package contents appearing properly, it displays each package full width and does not display the “X” and “Check” symbols, leading a reader to believe they are getting ALL of the enhancements with every package.

I am still trying to configure the theme, since upgrading the theme does not save any layout changes at all when you upgrade, so I will update this post if I find any further bugs, but I wanted mark to know i found these in case there were fixes that I am missing.

On a GOOD note, I want to thank mark for making the Google Map location optional 🙂 That was something I was griping about in an earlier post and I was very happy to see that feature added 😉
