I want to make the structure:
2.Commercial real estate
Where it is necessary to change the file?
no files need to be changed,
you can setup your categories in the admin under the listing manager -> categories
You can use the categories to create Residential and Commercial Real Estate. Go to wp-admin => Real Estate => Categories
Then use sub categories or taxonomies to create the other options.
Easy. I hope this helps? Good luck with your RealtorPress theme. 😉
Looks like Mr Fail is 1 step ahead as usual 😳
Thanks for the reply.
What is not done?
I created a category Commercial Real Estate.
I created a sub-category Offices.
I add office.
I’m trying to set the value of the Office in Property Type, but it is not.
property type is a custom field, check/edit under the listing setup tab.
Of course, I see that there is no Office
Now, I have added “residential”, “offices” to the file \realtorpress\realtorpress\template_realtorpress\
Now everything is in place 😉
nice one Oleksii 🙂 good job
How to do it here?
// CATEGORY SETUP
//$args = array(‘cat_name’ => “Articles” );
//$cat_id = wp_insert_term(“Articles”, ‘category’, $args);
//$ARTID = $cat_id[‘term_id’];
$args = array(‘cat_name’ => “Residential” );
$cat_id = wp_insert_term(“Residential”, ‘category’, $args);
$bizID = $cat_id[‘term_id’];
//$args = array(‘cat_name’ => “Commercial” );
//$cat_id = wp_insert_term(“Computers”, ‘category’, $args);
$pages_array = “”;
Who will help me?
I’m not programmer. I am a mechanic engineer.
‘cat_name’ => “Commercial” – “Computers” Here is correctly written?
Question. The structure of the template is not successful. Why did you apply it?
In order to create Categories and sub-categories
I suggest you IMPORT the file you need is written like this (refer video)
however, you may find the sub-category order might change to alphabetical
so to stop that you could do a marker like
i then ii, iii
but you will have a problem with -Land
because it is in BOTH categories – so some means of having a sub-category is needed
