Sub Pages On Mobile Theme

I’ve created several pages that have sub pages associated with them. When I view the site on my desktop, I see the parent pages, when I mouse over them I see the subpages as a drop down. That’s the way it should be.

However on mobile, when i open the nav box, I see all pages listed including the sub pages without having to mouse over them.
