States and Cities not properly shown

Hi Again,
So I have set up my advanced search and now it easily shows United States of America which is fine cause that is the only place we have listings currently. But there seems to be a issue with the search function.
When I click on State sometimes it populates the list of states that we have listings in and sometimes it does not. The cities are not actually populating a list at all but showing 6 blank spaces which I guess I assume is for the 6 listings we currently have. Is there something wrong with the theme causing this? I have followed the video tutorials step by step and this is getting frustrating that it is not populating correctly.
