State Field in Advanced Search not Populating – all fields filled out.

I have business directory theme responsive V8.0 wordpress V4.0.1

I looked at the video at: https://docs.premiumpress.com/doc/setting-up-countrystatecity-searches/ , I was able to add country field and it is populating correctly, however adding the STATE field is not populating the state fields.

My test listings were added with google and the map-state, map-address1, map-country, etc. are all filled out correctly. map-state in my test listings is set as: AK , map-country: US and map-address1 and map-zip are also filled out.

Is there anything else I should check or is there is a solution to this?
