Some problem on the first installation

I followed all the tutorials but i still fighting with 2 problems
the first one is that when a user registers itself it not goes on a profile listing. What i’ve noticed watching tutorials that i do not have the profile edit in the user setup. i’ve just registration,userfields,usercredit and social.

the second point is about the terms and condition checkbox. on some pages the go ahead button works sometimes if the box is checked, in other if none.

Any ideas?
