Social Login plugin on Dating theme

I’ve installed the plugin and have it set up for LinkedIn and Facebook so far. In testing these for registering an account the apps created work fine but they do not register the new user.

I have possibly misunderstood what can be done with the plugin and therefore have the following questions;

1. Can a new user open an account on my dating theme site using “Social Login” plugin?

or

2. Is it more like this…. A new user can register with the site using the forms on the site but can thereafter login with Facebook, etc. ?

The error I get from trying to register is
“Oops! You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
