    I can’t seem to figure out where prepend and append our skimlinks url. Should it be attached to the URL or to the link column in the CSV being imported.

    Thanks

    there is no option in the CSV import, im unsure how they change the link so im guessing you’ll need to speak to them

    Mark,

    We actually wrote a script that does our parsing of PepperJam and CommissionJunction so that the CSV import tool can import. What I’m wondering is which one we attach our skimlinks redirect link too? Is it the the merchant URL or is it the affiliate link?

    Like So:

    URL column in our CSV:
    http://go.redirectingat.com?id=30743X1155674&xs=1&url=http://www.macmall.com&sref=http://www.thecouponistas.com

    OR

    Link column in our CSV:
    http://go.redirectingat.com?id=30743X1155674&xs=1&url=http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-7044169-10380670&sref=http://www.thecouponistas.com

    I took a look at our PPT CouponPress site, looks like its using the merchant url.

    $skimlinks = “http://go.redirectingat.com?id=30743X1155674&xs=1&url=”;
    $ref=”&sref=http://www.thecouponistas.com”;

    <!– functional php code removed –>

    ‘url’ => $skimlinks.$column[‘programurl’].$ref

    So basically after we get the file, we parse it and add our skimlinks codes to the merchant URL, then we tell the responsive theme to use the URL field instead of the LINK field for the get code button. Pretty sure this should work.

    What do you think?

    Hi Stephen,

    How did you go did you get this sorted?

    You would use the first one with the actual plain merchant url e.g. http://go.redirectingat.com?id=30743X1155674&xs=1&url=http://www.macmall.com&sref=http://www.thecouponistas.com

    Any idea is there a way to automatically attach this skimlinks redirect to our links from icodes, for the merchants we haven’t joined?
