    Hi

The plugin Site Health gives the below warning when I use the theme:

The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: [] cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received

    Hi Peter

This simply means your cURL is timing out – usually because it’s being blocked – not really a major issue as it’s used for mostly WP automated updates.

It’s a common issue with WP – check google for 10,000+ solutions.

    OK.

To be sure I tried installing WordPress and the plugin Site Health at another server. There was no problem – When i installed the theme and tried Site Health again:

    I when get the errors:

The Rest API encountered an error
The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: [] cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes receive

Your site could not complete a loopback request
Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.

The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

There seems to be something in your theme causing it. Is it something that will be fixed in a future version?
