Shortcode and Category Questions

Hello guys I am almost finished and had a few small questions.

I am wanting to use a static homepage and needed a little help with shortcodes please.

I used this shortcode to show random listings but it does not seem to show random. [LISTINGS cat=’1857′ orderby=’random’ order=’desc’ show=10]

Also is it possible to show all listing via random order with a shortcode?

To show categories I used this short code [CATEGORIES] but it shows all of the sub cats which total over 200. Is it possible to just show the main categories instead?

Also does anyone know the css code to change category font sizes.
