Search Fields – How to change Locations input type

    Hi Everyone,

    I have September 2016 Child Theme installed. On the homepage, I would like to change the search criteria field for “Locations” from a selection type to an input field type so users can type in the name of the location they want to search. How can I then link it to search location database fields for users and listings.

    Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
