Search Box and Social Icons in Header

I noticed that most of the child theme demos on this site for the Responsive Directory Theme have a search box with a row of social icons underneath it, located in the upper right, which was previously the spot for a header banner. However when I install these themes, the search box and social icons are not there.

I am running the latest Responsive Directory Theme 6.3. Is this something that is coming in 6.4, or am I unaware of some setting to add the search box and social icons there?

Examples of themes showing this search box and social icons include Wow Pink, Wild Fly, Tech Flow, Black Pink, Vacation Time, to name just a few.
