'save listing" button problems & required fields

Hey folks

I notice when editing a listing or creating a listing sometimes the ‘save listing’ button is unclickable, its like it tries to be clever and if it doesn’t notice any changes then there’s nothing to save.

Problem is that it doesn’t work properly in the sense that when you do make changes the button is unclickable unless you change specific information.

How can i make this always selectable so there will never a be problem with clicking that image.

Also how can I change which of the standard fields are required? I don’t need the main descripton box to be required.
