Responsiveness Issues

I’m hoping you can help or give some pointers here.

I’m building a directory site at https://sabuildingdirectory.co.za using the Responsive Directory Theme, and I’m experiencing a few issues when it comes to responsiveness.

1. This is what it looks like on a PC or notebook, with no issues at all:

2. This is what it looks like on a larger tablet, such as the iPad:

Notice the funky drop down menu and main menu that’s disappearing off screen to the right.

3. This is what it looks like on a smaller tablet, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab:

The category images are suddenly enlarged and placed one per row, which doesn’t look good at all. It would have been great if those images could have a four – two – one progression with diminishing resolution.

Also, something I didn’t indicate on the screenshot, there’s no menu at all. At smaller resolutions, such as for an iPhone, it shows the mobile menu.

3. This is what it looks like on a smartphone:

Notice the mobile menu which is now displayed. The category images are still humongous and placed one per line, but I suppose one could live with that on a smartphone.

Any help or advice?
