Remove Physical Street Address from LOCATION on Listing

Can any one share how to remove the physical address part from the LOCATION field on our listings? E.g. keep the LOCATION city and state but NOT the address like 1234 main street. People are upset they want their city and state but not their actual number and street address portion. Can this be done? We tried [LOCATION hide=”address”] etc….

Thank you kindly. It is shown on top ,left of their listing page. Some show the city and state only while others the full address. It seems to be pulling from their Google Map location address if they fill it out fully. See attached image…

(we are thinking that the only way to stop the street part from showing is to manually edit it out within their MAPS section of the listing after it is created)

    hi Anthony,

I can see you’re using version 8, are you using Theme setup > page setup > listing page > custom display?

if yes, try to change the [LOCATION] shortcode to [FIELD show=”map-city”] instead then see if it works

Yes we are….thank you all it did was add [FIELD show=”map-city”] where the location was. I think it is easier just to edit out their address as users enroll and edit those that complain abut it. Can not figure out how to only show the city and state in the. FYI – the code in the custom display area is: <div class=’mainlocation’>[LOCATION]
