Real Estate Them 9 issues

Love the look of the theme just trying to get everything sorted to get my site back up.

After searching a property the search bar does not show the text inside the box due to the background and text color being both white. ( attached screenshot)
Can this be changed in the theme settings.

I loaded test properties with real addresses and when searching for the properties it shows they are thousands of miles away from the actual property that I searched for.

Is there any way to make the search on the main page not go to a second search page that asks for more information? Can I just change the fields on the search bar?
