WordPress Business Themes › Forums › Responsive Themes › Directory Theme › Published Listings Are Becoming Drafts For No Reason
We have over 700 listings in the Director Press theme. I noticed that sometime after a theme update that about 500 or so listings all of the sudden became ‘drafts’. So, I went in there and bulk published them all again. It worked fine. Now, after the weekend, MOST of those are back to being drafts again? Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this issue?
SOLVED: The listings expire at a certain date and will auto turn into a draft if nothing else is otherwise specified.
I guess all is well – Thanks for sharing!
How did you fix this?
The listings expire at a certain date and will auto turn into a draft if nothing else is otherwise specified.
I have no listing packages assigned to any of my listings as they are my own listings. All my 600 listings slowly but surely become drafts.
I can only set a listing expiry option http://screencast.com/t/McexmYuPHDG but now it’s after the fact and it seems to me the only way to change them is to go and edit 600 listings ;-(
listings with expired or no expiry dates will be checked against your expiry options, they will be assumed expired and then actions taken.
I am lost. ;-( Thanks. Mark I have sent you the links via support ticket.
Thanks Mark. Apparently the new theme released by Mark fix this problem.
in 6.6.0 i added a on/off switch for expiry features so you can disable the entire expiry feature.
admin -> general setup -> listing setup
