Paypal is no longer using Adaptive Payments and replacing it with PayPal For Marketplaces. Are you working on a plugin for this?

    Hello Roy,

I’m not aware of PayPal Adaptive Payments being discontinued, (persea), but has become “limited” for new integrations.

Do you have a url to the article with the discontinue info?

I found that info in the PayPaI developers forum. Then I called PayPal today and they said you have to apply for PayPal Marketplaces approval.

Thank you for contacting PayPal with your concern. You can learn more about the Marketplaces product on the PayPal Developer Portal: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/marketplaces/pp4mp/?mark=marketplaces

You can apply for approval to set up their PayPal for Marketplaces integration via the Contact Us link.

If you are already using Adaptive, I guess they will transition you into Marketplaces but they are not allowing new users…

Thanks for the update, good for peeps to know.

Things have definitely changed since the last time I’ve played in their sandbox. :-)

WooCommerce support also suggest PayPal Mass Payments as an option to Adaptive Payments:
