Pagination 404 error when ordering by featured listing in 7.1.4

Hi,
the problem occurs when you setup directory press in display settings > search/listing page>Display order (featured listings (first).

Then, when you display a category and when you click on a page number at the bottom of the first page you get a 404 error code.

Let’s imagine you have 100 listings in category shoes and in display settings you setup directorypress to setup 30 listings on a page at the same time. So, when you are going to click on the page 2,3 and 4 at the bottom of the page entitled yourdomain.com/category/shoes/ you will get a 404 error for yourdomain.com/category/shoes/page/2/ and yourdomain.com/category/shoes/page/3/ and so on…. On the other hand, it works fine when i use “order by date”

I am looking for solutions because by the past i asked for an additional fee for those who wanted a featured listing on top.

I have also a responsive theme, but that would bring me too much work.

I am open to any ideas (dev. , copy from responsive theme, functions…) that could help me to get those featured listing first followed by regular listings..
