Page setup > shortcodes

In page setup > content pages is there a way to add a conditional if/else layout for featured ads? I see it says shortcodesIn and HTML only, if it accepted php then we could do an if featured / premium ad then use this layout, else use this layout. I think that would be a killer feature if we could control ad content for free / premium ads on search pages etc.
Is there already a fairly easy way?
