Need Expert Advice on Cutomizing Business Directory Theme

I’m seeking help from some very experienced gurus on this board. I’m looking to start a community website for a niche professional market. One of the most important features of the site will be a directory where professionals can post their profile and gallery of pictures. This is why I went ahead and purchased the new Business Directory theme. However, in addition to the directory, I would like to add these key features:

— Forum: this will be similar to the community forum we have here on premiumpress. The forum must use the same login as the directory portion of the site. I also want to be able to control forum access based on membership type and level… for example, if a user is a professionals who signed up for free account, then he can’t post in forum and can only read.

— Blog: I want the ability for professional members to submit a Guest Blog. Once I approve, then their blog will be published on the site with a link back to the author’s profile/listing page.

— Matching Service: I want potential clients looking to hire a professional on my site to be able to submit a “Request for Bid”. It’s a simple form they can fill out and the lead will get sent to professionals in the same geographic area and price range that the user specified. We need to build in some sort of priority logic here too.. where the professionals with paid membership level get the leads before the ‘free’ members

— Inspiration Gallery: Similar to pintrest. I want an are of the site where users (both clients and professionals) can see images that were loaded up by professionals as part of their directory listing. Here, users can search the images by tags and save them as ‘favorites’

— Banner Ads: I want to be able to manage the display and pricing of banner ads throughout the site (directory, forum, blog, etc.) from one location

— Directory: I will need help customizing this based on the Business Directory theme. Again, the login/credential for the directory must be the same one used throughout the site, including forum, guest blog, and inspirational gallery. Also, when professionals upload their photos for display in their directory listing, they should be able to add tags so their photos are searchable by tags in the ‘Inspirational Gallery’

Based on the level of customization + addon required for this project, do you think it is still a good idea to use the Business Directory theme as the core to build upon? Or would you advise that I build everything from scratch? Please help.
