National site – need to create a page for each city

Hello and thank you in advance for your help.

I set up a national site and need to create a page for each major city and somehow have the search listings corresponding to that city already populated on the page when the person pulls it up.

I in am local search in Los Angeles want to send the link just to the Los Angeles page with specific results.

I heard there might be a short code (not sure what that is) that I can use.

I had someone else design my site and I know just about enough to get by.
