Mobile Version – Sidebar Issue & Menu Issue

Sidebar Issue – When viewing the mobile version I noticed that the right hand side bar always showing on the top of the page, then the main page content second. This is bad usability because if someone searches for a listing they want to see the listing not scroll a long sidebar and then finally come across the data they listed. Most people I presume would give up and go to another site presuming the site is broken – Is there a way to make the sidebar be below the main content? Not be the first thing that shows up?

Menu Issue – On the mobile version in 8.9 I don’t see any hamburger button. The menu I have on the very top (see whocaters.com) on the desk version doesn’t show up on the mobile version. As well in the backend under Appearance>Menus>Manage Locations – It doesn’t give an option for a mobile menu like it did in version 6.7 – How do I get a menu on the mobile version 8.9?

Thank you for all your advice

I have the same issue. My mobile site does not have a menu and I can’t find a place to fix it.

    Hello Reuben,
Make sure you have created a menu under Appearance >Menus and have linked it correctly to the ‘Main Navigation’

    got it thanks Josh. Also,

    1) what if I do not want the “main navigation” to appear in desktop version?
    2) how do i change the text in mobile menu “website Navigation” to “Menu”?

Thanks a lot for your help.
