mobile menu

i am at my wits end with the menu on the responsive theme using the spot child theme. It works on a desktop but on an i pad it does not show a drop down, on a blackberry it does not show any writing at all and on an i phone c the menu overlaps everything else. Has anybody at all used this child theme and got the menu to work on these devices and if so can you forward the website url please. I am betting that there are no replies with a working website. I’d love someone to prove me wrong and tell me how it’s done, but I have totally lost faith.
