Local directory – map cords

Hi I am setting up a local directory for a town in the uk – the main page map shows a location in Germany – I have searched through the posts and cannot find where to add my map cords. They all point to Geo location and google maps page but the only thing on here tells me how to find my my map cords not where to enter them in order to make the front page more relevant ??
