Listing Description HTML editor produces only plain text

I am using the Business Directory Theme – PremiumPress Child Theme with Responsive Business Theme.

A listing client is upgraded so as to allow the HTML editor enhancement for the description field.

Uses this to edit the description, saves the listing. On reviewing the listing page he sees no formatting only the plain text of the description he has just entered. Text formatting, blank lines and images have all disappeared.

What am I doing wrong?
