Links Opening Twice

When I click on a click to reveal button on a coupon I get the pop-up which ok, that’s what it’s set to do. However when I click it has already opened a tab in the browser to that merchants site. Then with the pop-up there is a visit website button so when I click that it opens another tab to the merchants website and basically winds up navigating away from the main site completely.

The site is not ready from a look and feel perspective, I’m just using the stock CP theme while I get the bugs worked out.

Some insight on this issue would be appreciated.
