    For some reason I cannot seem to affect the colour of my live links in the footer.

    I use this:

    font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif #000; font-size:12px; text-transform:capitalize; text-shadow:#320064 .5px .5px 1px; padding:3px;

    ….and the colour remains a light grey – which it has got from elsewhere.

    When I alter the text-shadow element – this works perfectly well.
