Job board setup

    Trying to setup your theme to look exactly like https://www.premiumpress.com/wordpress-job-board-theme/ or trying to use Business Directory child theme – always end in fails – Child theme doesnt see parent theme

    Is there a easy tutorial hot to use ?

    Krzysztof, have you updated styles.css file in child theme to point to parent theme eg. change Template from [XXX] to DT (no brackets) if parent is Directory Theme?

    What version are you using?

    As there have been major changes in versions 8.6 and 8.7 I doubt whether the older child themes will work any more. I think only very recent child themes released after development of 8.6/8.7 would work. Maybe more info will come out after 8.7 stable is release.

    Maybe Mark F or Josh could clarify which child themes will work with 8.7.

    @Krzysztof You can only use child Themes compatible with your parent theme.Here are the Job Board compatible child themes >>https://childthemes.premiumpress.com/themes/jobboard-theme/
    The images displayed in the link above,the theme displayed is using version 8.3 which is not available in Members Area,but you can send a ticket to support and request for the version
