i need plugin or help for category and sub category

I please need some assistance with the input fields for certain categories.
my current problem is that all the input field will be displayed regardless of the category.
how can i change the input field that only certain fields are displayed with certain categories.
an example is that a car category only field will require input fields like model, make, mileage ect but will not be applicable to a house category that will include fields like no of bedrooms, bathrooms ect that has nothing to do with input field for cars.
