How to let users choose their own username during Listing Package purchase?

Hi Mark,

I know that usernames are auto-created now, but I really think this should be a user-driven choice when signing up for listing packages just like is already done when someone clicks the “Register” link.

Is there any chance that this can be done and integrated with the Listing Package process? Even if it’s just a function in my child theme to add that field to the Listing Package purchase process?

Our directory is laser-focused on experienced WordPress users and having an auto-created username from their email is just not standard. I have had 5 people testing the process for me on our site and every person has complained about this.

I’m happy to pay for this feature if it’s not something you feel should be built-in.
