How to change link on Search button in July 2016 child theme

I need to change the link for the destination page on the Search button in the Main Banner Block. I have a custom search page.

In one of my earlier posts you said,

Please edit the file Appearance >Editor >home-layout-directory1.php
Replace the code <?php echo home_url(); ?>/?s= with your link/url

This does not work with the July 2016 child theme.

It worked perfectly with the Health Zone child theme I used at the time, but as it turns out that child theme is not compatible with the new Responsive DT and I had to start all over again.
