    How do I remove the newsletter widget from the about-us system generated page?
    On the about-us page attributes section, I picked [PAGE-ABOUT US]
    I have searched the theme and could not find it.
    The newsletter option is disabled in theme settings.

    Hi Mitchell

    Do you want to turn it off completely?

    @Mitch

    Re-create the sidebar with what you want under Appearance > Widgets > Pages Sidebar.

    Note: Each widget has the conditional settings you can set to only display when specific conditions are met. Would be helpful if you only want it to be displayed on the About Us page.

    @Mitch

    “Hi James I would like to turn it off everywhere”

    Looking at your site, it looks like the sidebar method would be ideal. At least until the Newsletter on/off setting is fixed to remove all newsletter box references.

    Noticed you had removed the newsletter reference from your footer already and the only other boxes I seen were in the sidebars. It shouldn’t take to long to this set up.

    Only other option I’m aware of would be to alter core file(s) to remove the boxes.

    Note: Feel free to email me (or post in the other forum) if needed. I’ll be holding off on posting here in the forum until after I get back the ‘JamesD’ user account.

    One thing I noticed if I add widgets to the widget pages they do not show up how can I remove the predesigned widgets and just add my own.

    Recreate the sidebar by adding the widgets to the sidebar and then you can remove them anyway you like.
