Home Page Bugs with Editing

Hi Mark,

I love your themes and what they offer us. Thank you for all your hard work. 😀

But, currently I am having a lot of problems setting up my Home Page in the Responsive Directory theme. I am currently using 5.2, but have had problems in the earlier versions too.

It seems that the Home Page does not like changes. As you can see from my other post, adding then removing then adding the Carousel again causes problems:

And now, I was trying out the Tabs on the Home Page and decided I did not want them there. So when I deleted them, for some reason now the background of my categories block does not show. That happened to me in an earlier version of this theme and thus had to reload the theme. I will try the reset this time and hope I don’t lose any content or other customizations.

Here are screen shots. The first one shows my Home Page categories section floating with no block background. It did originally have a background color in the appropriate block, the gradation you see is simply part of the bg image.

The subsequent screen shots here show that my other pages have the background colors still showing fine. The last one shows that I did originally have a background color there.

So I suppose the point of this post is please, check for bugs with the Home Page layout section and 2.) it would be awesome since this page has its own settings to have a Home Page reset button in the tools so we don’t end up resetting other parts of all our hard work just to get the Home Page straightened out.
