Help understanding packages

I have created listing packages. I have some users who have created listings with the listing packages who now want to move to the membership packages. Is this possible to do?

When I changed their information under user to a membership and then went and tried to add a listing it said they would need to pay.

What do I do so that I can upgrade them to a membership package?

Also, I want the membership packages hidden. But I want to create a page where the membership packages are, how do I do that?

Also, where do I update the text on the listing page for the membership packages? When I had no membership packages the text was not there. When i created membership packages but mark them hidden, there is this text there:
Membership Packages
Our membership packages let you submit multiple listings.
