Header design editing

Hi. I have the classified theme with one of the child themes. No matter which one, because the others didn’t do what I wanted either. Is there any way to edit the header to remove the search box completely? Also how can I edit the header size and colors, the font size and color in the header as the design setup and the others in the theme don’t do anything no matter what color I change it to. Besides there is no header in the customize section either under appearance.
I can’t write code, I have no idea how to do it. I have to use Chrome -inspect element- to see where I want to change, but the theme lacking the css and it shows only INDEX which is nothing because no INDEX file either that could be changed.
I have about 20 websites running for years and this is the first I have so much trouble with. This theme is not user friendly at all if someone cant code. Not customizable by someone without coding knowledge, but it sure gives you a full list of aggravation.
Unfortunately it is a nice theme and looks good otherwise I would have had it chucked a long time ago. I am still giving it some time and if it doesn’t go I have to junk it as useless as far as customization goes below Pro coding level.
Too bad there is no developer support either other then an occasional by Mark Fail who seems to be the only developer support besides the community and he is not speaking much either and the DIY buyers. Looking at the occasional website links in the questions most of them looks to been abandoned I guess for lack of knowledge of working it.
Too bad it’s so hard to customize.
