Google and affiliate Products

Some of you might not be aware that Google does not now accept Affiliate products being uploaded to Googleshopping/Google merchant etc. There is a Beta testing in the USA but it is proving to be a disaster.

So for those that use Trade Doubler/Affiliate Windows (i use an API which cost over £300+) it is almost pointless using Google and will get you disqualified (so if you have anything else going through Google this will also be stopped). This is appalling from Google, companies like me had successful turnover of £4.8 million using Tesco and other companies, spent £10k plus each year plus advertising through Google to be treated in this manner.

It is one of the reasons why Google has lost its Tax status and is now looked on as a rogue, the EU made them stop their tax status in Ireland NOT the UK government.

So what t do with your Shopperpress site? Find some excellent products and sell them, dont do affiliate products and avoid Google Adwords as it will just eat your budget dry. Worse it will take all your time up for what is really a big con.

Shopper Press is a brilliant shopping page for the internet, just sell your own
products. I need to update my shopper press site but the problem is I will lose my API feed so two problems, api feeds cost money unless you are a programmer, and the other is when sites get updated sometimes you will have to reprogram your site again at great expense. And now that your earnings can be as low as £0.20 per item sold and sometimes nothing if it is a repeat customer it really is not worth it.

I have now opened a cleaning business and have a responsive site on Shopperpress which is doing very well as a service if anyone is interested.

Just a general heads up on affiliate products.
