Getting the radius search to work

For Responsive Directory Theme I cannot get the radius search to work. My site either brings matching results for “auto” but nothing for radius, or the other way around. I keep trying to change settings, but it never works right.

Having the advanced search set to: State: State Search (not linked to country), city (linked to state) and Zip Code set to map-zip. How do I then set up Listing Setup in order for the radius search to work correctly? Currenlty I have database keys as: state, city and map-zip

If anyone can clue me in to what I might be missing, I would be so grateful!
