Featured Products in Widget in Responsive Shop Theme

    Is is possible to display the Product category for Featured Products in a widget?

    I use a plugin called Special Recent Posts which will allow me to filter by custom post type ( product_type ) but when I try to further filter by just a product category using an id it does not seem to work.

    Any suggestions to a simple solution to this?
